Whether you’re feeling lonely, in conflict, or experiencing any kind of personal crisis, please feel free to contact LifeLine. Our LifeLine-trained counsellors are available to listen, provide support, and offer referrals.

Confidentiality is one of the cornerstones of our counselling service. We respect your right to privacy, and no information you share with us will be disclosed.

Telephone Counselling

The only charge for our telephone counselling service is the cost of your call.

Our lines are open from 10:00 to 22:00, 365 days a year.

Face-to-Face Counselling

In addition to our telephone counselling service, we offer face-to-face counselling. Our LifeLine-trained counsellors are available to see you for up to four one-hour counselling sessions. Please note that our face-to-face counselling service operates on an appointment-based system.

Booking Fees for Face-to-Face Sessions

To help us continue providing vital support, we have a booking fee for face-to-face counselling sessions. We understand that everyone’s financial situation is different, and we don’t want this fee to be a barrier to getting the help you need.

Individual Sessions:

  • For your first 4 sessions, there’s a booking fee of R50 per session.
  • For sessions after your first 4, the booking fee is R150 per session.

Couples Sessions:

  • For your first 4 sessions, there’s a booking fee of R100 per session.
  • For sessions after your first 4, the booking fee is R200 per session.

We believe that everyone deserves support, regardless of their financial circumstances. If you are unable to afford the suggested booking fee, please donate what you can, if anything. Your contributions, no matter how small, help us continue to offer these crucial services and support others who may also be facing financial hardship.
